2018 Perth Hills Wine Show

The Perth Hills Wine Region stretches from Chittering Valley in the North, down to Serpentine in the South and includes the Bickley – Carmel region, one of the closest wine regions to the CBD.

On September 12, 2018, wineries from the region participated in the Perth Hills Wine Show and 60 entries were received.  Judging of wines took place throughout the day culminating in an Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner in the evening which was held at The Vault Restaurant in Kalamunda.  Guests included Matthew Hughes MLA, Alyssa Hayden MLA, Donna Faragher MLC, Jessica Shaw MLA, as well as representatives for Ken Wyatt MP, who are all proud supporters of the event.

This year’s judges were:  Chief Judge, Severine Logan (Watershed Wines), Andries Mostert (Plantagenet Wines) and Lance Parkin (Houghton’s Wines) with Associate Judge Garret Strange (Villa Maria Wines).

Millbrook Winery took out the Chairman’s Trophy and Myattsfield Winery took out Wine of the Show
